Lead Billet
Lead
The symbol of lead is Pb. It is a soft, easy to malleable kind of metal. Its color is blueish white when it is just sheared, however, it turns dull grey due to oxidization in the air in time. Its electrical conductivity is poor. As it resists corrosion, it is used for storing corrosive liquids (for example sulphuric acid). Its hardness value can be increased by adding up alloy with a small amount of antimony or other metals.
